Camping with family in a woodland garden amongst people from all walks of life but connected by a common interest in permaculture - brought together by a host of excellent speakers that opened my mind even further, taught me so many new things, inspired me and challenged me. By the end of the weekend we were mostly familiar with each other sitting around camp fires, eating scrumptious and wholesome vegetarian meals prepared for us, listening to vibrant live music and sharing our stories. Kids had a ball and were so inspired themselves, they gave us their own performance at the end of it. Last night I went to another talk by one of the speakers and heard some of the follow up actions that have happened since the festival - when you gather at festivals like this you raise not only your own and those around you, but the earth's vibrational energy too. So many amazing things are already happening as a result of the connectedness of this festival. Great talks, great place, great food and great people. I will be back and encourage everyone I know to attend!

Increasingly so, places and people are coming together to share their ideas and experiences around creating & engaging with sustainable livelihoods. This festival is a growing example of the wave that is sweeping the earth and the necessary navigation away from excessive and blind consumption to a more connected, conscious and collected group of earth citizens. The more people we have attending festivals and gatherings like this, the less we need to pay for tickets and attendance, and the more we can each contribute in terms of help and information will arise. Let's find each other, let's connect. See you at next years perma fest ;)
