The Heath, found just 6km outside of Plettenberg Bay, is one of the Garden Route's favourite and most loved venues, offering an incredible experience for everyone. This bohemian stop is a journey through locally inspired food, nature and art, finished up by the Tin Shack, a tasting room for home-grown craft beer and local wine. Expect shopping that is out of the ordinary, elegant and artistically designed wood work in the furniture and home decor showroom Amoeba @ Ilovani, an Eagle encounter at Radical Raptors that will leave you grinning from ear to ear; the forever famous Cheeseman and his mountain of cheeses, and grounds that will, without a doubt, wow and excite the little ones. Walk around The Potting Shed, a nursery space that homes indigenous plants, garden goodies and handmade creations.
If resting is on the agenda, sit at The Heath Café & Deli for a delicious cup of coffee and a tasty, organic and free-range meal. The Deli is open for breakfast, lunch and tea, and offers a wide selection of jams, preserves and peri peri sauces.

It is so nice to stroll around the complex and look at interesting products. I had a delicious coffee at The Deli and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. Interesting local wine and craft beer selection too. I loved the "used coffee grounds box", where all the coffee grounds are collected as fertilizer!

Great place to take the kids for a stop over when traveling the Garden Route, or just as an outing from Knysna or Plett. My kids love the ziplines, the natural play area beneath the trees and the metal car merry go round that is powered by parents and older siblings. All in all a great shop, play and eat experience.
