Fisanthoek Brewing Cloud 7

Built and managed by Derek Saul, Fisanthoek Brewing is a small brewery based in the Garden Route. Derek is a blacksmith/sculptor with a deep love for permaculture principles in his engagement to life. This love passes into the brewery, all the grains used are non-gmo grains, ethically farmed and imported due to local grains being sprayed heavily. The beer made at Fisanthoek Brewing is made from rainwater and this imparts a beautiful softness to the range. Principles of re-using and recycling are integral to the brewery and no damage is caused to the land by the brewing process – all cleaning is done by biodegradable products as the brewery is connected to the land it inhabits. Derek encourages local crafts in the packaging and all bottles from the brewery will be happily accepted back for re-use. The beer produced is called Cloud7 Rainwater beer and can be found at select outlets in Plettenburg Bay.
