Tucked away in the Lookout Centre on Plett Main Road, the Parisian inspired shop offers a wide variety of slow-risen artisan breads baked daily using organic stone ground flour, as well as pastries, desserts and croissants. Breakfast and lunch, which include simple, local and free-range ingredients, can be enjoyed in the relaxing atmosphere of the Courtyard. For cold winter days, step into the wooden cosy rooms; with free wifi, this is an ideal space for business meetings or freelancers.

Coffee connoisseurs would be excited to know that Le Fournil de Plett serves prime artisan coffee, roasted by Truth Coffee (Flavour not bitterness. No sugar required.). For a quick break, stop by the Deli counter, where you will find appetizing take-home goodies. As part of its eco-friendly and ethical choices, Le Fournil uses coffee grounds to feed a worm farm and minimizes waste and footprint by re-using, recycling as much as possible. A day in Plett is incomplete without Le Fournil’s famous almond croissant.
